Historically olives trees have been cultivated and harvested for their fruit and oil production, for millennia. Mallorca possesses it’s own denomination of origin mark for oil produced in the island. To have your own olive grove and produce your own oil is both a privilege and a pleasure. There are also existing olive plantations available to buy, on occasion.
